Paul Gillis: When Kingship Ascends to Heaven

      Guest Curated by Simon Zalkind

      Through May 1, 2020

Fantasy, myth-making, allegory. BMoCA invites you to experience the idiosyncratic artwork of local artist Paul Gillis, on exhibit at BMoCA at Macky through May 1, 2020. Gillis mines the depths of ambiguity, drawing viewers into the complexities of their own consciousness. He incorporates the grammar of comic books, and has created a complex visual language with characters and codes suffused with longing and poignancy.
