The historical building was constructed in 1926 and went through numerous changes until becoming the local beloved music hall. The history of the Fox Theatre dates back to 1926 when it was known as the Rialto Theatre. It passed through many different hands and saw many different theatre troupes come through its doors. The building was destroyed in a fire in 1960 and it was rebuilt in 1961 as the Fox Theatre. The reconstruction efforts included a lighted marquee sign and space for 500 seats. It has been a hallmark of local culture ever since and has hosted all of our favorite performers from Bonnie Raitt and Lyle Lovett to Snoop Dogg and Method Mann.
